Fidgeting.net is the personal weblog of Kyle Slattery (more to come on him later), where he shares his thoughts on technology, the internet, and the college life. It runs on the superb WordPress blog platform and is hosted by the always jovial Dreamhost.
In prior lives, fidgeting.net was very much the same, but also very different. Very much the same in that it was a blog by Kyle. Very much different in the way that it hurt to look at, and on occasion even hurt to read. Hopefully, in the three years in between the incarnations, Kyle’s become a tad bit more interesting, and a little less like paint drying.
Kyle
Kyle. Well, where to start? First off, Kyle is 19 and currently attending Lehigh University where he is studying Astrophysics. (No, he’s not going to be a rocket scientist, but thanks for asking.) As much as he tries to pretend it’s not true, Kyle is an absolute nerd. He had an email address before most of his friends even had computers, and he’s been making websites almost as long. But, despite this, he does manage to get outside of the virtual world, as he’s been ski racing for over a decade and is also an avid photographer (see some of his photos on Flickr). In general, Kyle’s a normal enough guy, even if he prefers MythBusters over the WWE.
